Cannatrek’s T24 Sapphire Flower is the cultivar Tchelet a cross between Shark’s Breath and Skunk #1. This 60/40 Sativa leaning hybrid is grown in Israel where it is considered an older popular cultivar on the Israeli medicinal cannabis market. Tchelet’s dominant terpenes are Caryophyllene, Limonene, Humulene, Myrcene, and Linalool.
DNA Genetics created Shark’s Breath in Amsterdam by crossing Great White Shark and Jamaican Lamb’s Bread. Shark's Breath has a distinctive sickly sweet, almost fermented aroma. However, upon exhalation, the taste profile is described as a combination of sour citrus and skunk-like notes. Shark’s Breath effects unfold by initially offering a clear-headed and focused experience before gradually transitioning into a more spacey mindset that’s relaxing and slightly sedating. High in Caryophyllene, Myrcene and Pinene Shark’s Breath is typically recommended for patients suffering from pain, stress, depression, anxiety and migraines.
I covered Skunk #1’s backstory in Promethean BioPharma’s Super Silver Haze review but in a nutshell… Skunk #1 produces a head high that is energetic and creative and a body high that is calm and soothing. She is recommended for treating anxiety and depression, as well as chronic pain, headaches, and lack of appetite. Her dominant terpenes are Myrcene, Limonene, and Pinene.
Review
Upon opening my 10-gram container of Cannatrek's T24 Sapphire flower (batch 230545), I'm met with a clean, fresh and floral aroma that’s reminiscent of rentals in my early twenties when I burned candles trying to mask the cannabis smell from my neighbours.
Despite some room for improvement in the trim department, Sapphire’s large olive green buds are dense and spongey, featuring evenly distributed orange stigmas, good trichome coverage and a kinetic sand aesthetic when tipped out of my grinder.
Sapphire nails the Sticky Icky Test.
Starting at 170C in my Mighty+ Sapphire tastes floral on inhalation with mild grape notes on exhalation. Sapphire produces some really nice vape clouds around the 180C mark and although she remains smooth, I very rarely went above 195C. One dosing cap (0.15 of a gram) consistently melted away any stress or anxiety I may have been experiencing before my medicating session by producing a happy cruisy feeling that was paired with a clear-headed focus that kept me on task and quieted my overthinking mind. Sapphire’s come down however is borderline couch locking.
Sapphire is best described as a Saturday cultivar. You know the kind… in smaller doses, she’s helping you knock things off your to-do list like mowing the lawn and doing the laundry but in larger doses, she’s got you convinced that binge-watching David Attenborough documentaries is the only way to spend a weekend.
Will I refill this prescription? Yes, Sapphire knocks it out of the park for the Sticky Icky Test, has the sort of effects I’m after, and is very reasonably priced at $135. Cannatrek’s Sapphire will be a nice addition to my late morning to late afternoon slot to rotate against Endoca’s Apples and Bananas.

I had to add, I remember when we first saw Skunk and guys were growing indoors more and more. That stuff used to stink. I think I first saw it around 1988. A lot of what we had back then was grown outside. Like your brickweed you experienced in the states we used to get seeded buds. Got Sinsemilla too, but that was more of a treat. I’m from Fremantle so back then most of the heads would come up from the country and Margret River. Lots of nice weed was grown outside. Friends had used seed that they brought back fro Nepal and India which in our climate they could grow through winter, which is an advantage in guerrilla farming. Listening to your interview brought back some good memories.
Unbelievable a five star. Yee ha. I think I needed to see that. Like you I’m on a quest for the right day flower. This one is in my top five to try.
So is Cannatrek Golden Bay and Alleve Ghost Train Haze.
Great interview on give and toke. I really enjoyed it was a fun interview.
At some point I hope you get to do a review on Okanagan 19, a nice 19% flower, has a good kick for a flower under 20%.
I was going to DM you as I got one of those Queen Sangria tubs that popped out at the bottom. My previous two weren’t like that so I can tell you it had more moisture than the other two. Left too long it may smell like ammonia.
Since this got a five it’s going on my next rotation. Cannatrek do some good flowers I haven’t had there Sativas yet. Brooklyn is my nightcap and a fine example of a nice Indica/Kush type flower.
Great work. Thanks
