Endoca’s Apples and Bananas is a 23% THC Sativa-leaning hybrid that packs a total of 4.18% terpenes, giving it one of the highest terpene levels currently available on the Australian medicinal cannabis market with her dominant terpenes being Myrcene, Ocimene, Pinene, and Caryophyllene. Grown in Nova Scotia, Canada Apples and Bananas has a more complex family tree than your average cannabis cultivar and starts with a cross of Platinum Cookies with Grandaddy Purple, which is then crossed with Blue Power and then with Gelatti.
Platinum Cookies also known as "Platinum Girl Scout Cookies” is a balanced hybrid cultivar from the Cookies Family. She is a cross between OG Kush, Durban Poison, and a third unknown cultivar. A sweet berry scented cultivar mixed with some fruity spiciness Platinum Cookies is recommended for patients to help manage chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and migraines. Her dominant terpenes are Caryophyllene, Limonene, and Myrcene.
Ken Estes, President of Grand Daddy Purp Collective Inc., a not-for-profit providing medicinal cannabis to patients in the California area created Granddaddy Purple also known as "GDP” in 2003. Estes has “gone on the record” in several interviews, saying that his Granddaddy Purple is the offspring of Afghani, Buddha, and Thai cultivars brought back to the US by Vietnam War veterans. Estes claims that his unique cut of Granddaddy Purple is a Skunk offspring that was given to him by a community of Native Americans he befriended while living in Humboldt County, who had preserved the strain for 22 years before sharing it with him. A 2006 Cannabis Cup first-place Indica winner Granddaddy Purple is typically high in Myrcene, Pinene, and Caryophyllene and is recommended for patients suffering from joint pain, appetite loss and nausea, insomnia, and migraines.
Blue Power is an Indica-leaning hybrid that’s a four-way cross between Sour Double, Master Kush, The White, and Blue Moonshine. While some phenotypes of Blue Power display shades of deep blue and purple any grape flavours associated with this cultivar can be considered a coincidence to its colouring. High in Limonene, Myrcene, and Linalool Blue Power is recommended for patients treating chronic pain, appetite loss, depression, and stress.
Gelatti, another Cookies Family cultivar, is a balanced hybrid cross between Gelato and Biscotti. Gelatti is renowned for its dessert-like flavours on inhalation and almost menthol-like flavours on exhalation pair this with a gassy spicy aroma and it is easy to see why this cultivar is extremely hard to find outside of California. A true Gelatti cultivar’s dominant terpenes are Ocimene, Limonene, and Terpinolene with effects described as energetic and euphoric she is recommended for patients suffering from nausea or loss of appetite, stress, depression, fatigue, and ADHD.
Review
Opening my 10 gram-tub of Endoca’s Apples and Bananas I’m greeted with a slightly fruity aroma paired with a rubbery gassy smell. It’s super faint but there’s also an underlying banana scent.
Apples and Banana’s buds have a distinct look and are resinous, tight and bulky. They are jade green and purple with a sprinkle of orange stigmas. Easily passing the Sticky Icky Test, Apples and Banana’s buds are some of the most aesthetically pleasing flowers I’ve seen on the Australian medicinal market in the last year.
Starting at 165C Apples and Bananas has a very pleasing flavour both on inhalation and exhalation remaining smooth up to 205C. Her initial effects a quick boost to mood and energy levels are easily felt within minutes of starting my medicating session. Producing a floaty relaxing effect as she settles, Apples and Bananas leaves me very clear-headed, anxiety-free and ready to tackle what’s left of the day’s to-do list
Endoca’s Apples and Bananas is perfect for a mid-afternoon to early evening medicating session and is a welcomed addition to my medicinal cannabis rotation.
(While I paid $170 for 10 grams you can get 20 grams for $298.)

Another astounding review, and excellent history lesson.
I have a feeling that Sativite Moorok wouldn’t be too different to Alfie Mac 1 but like most Sativite products it may be just that much better than the Alfie. I had the Cannatrek Mackay first which is the same Mac1 cultivar but it was so dry, rock hard dry nuggets, my doctor advised me to try the Alfie.
Like you when the Moorok comes out in 10 grams it’s going in my rotation.
Like you I was originally thinking Apples and Bananas could be on the morning slot, thanks to your review it looks perfect for the afternoon. Interesting that a Sativa dominant strain is so high in mercene. It’s always my aim in the afternoon to be functional and creative but on my way to relaxation for a coveted much needed good night sleep.
I can’t wait for your next review 😁
