GROW’s Pink Lilac is a 25% THC sativa-leaning medicinal cannabis cultivar that is a cross between Jack Herer and Pink Hawaiian. Grown indoors in Canada under LED lighting, Pink Lilac is hand harvested and trimmed then barrel cured for 21 days. Boasting a total terpene percentage of 4.71%, GROW’s Pink Lilac’s most dominant terpenes are Terpinolene, Myrcene, Limonene, Pinene, and Phellandrene.
I first covered Jack Herer a Sativa-dominant cannabis flower which is a cross of Northern Lights #5, Haze, and Shiva Skunk in my review of Patch Therapeutics’s Jack of Hearts. For a quick refresher, Jack Herer is typically high in Ocimene, Limonene, Caryophyllene, Terpinolene and Myrcene and would be recommended for patients trying to manage symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression.
Pink Hawaiian also known as Hawaiian Pink is a Sativa-dominant hybrid created by crossing Hawaiian and Cotton Candy Kush. Pink Hawaiian is said to have an aroma and flavour of sweet tropical fruits and spices, underscored by a hint of savoury skunk and sugar. This cultivar is celebrated for its uplifting effects and would be typically recommended for patients trying to manage symptoms of depression, stress, glaucoma, cramps, and fatigue.
Review
Opening my 10-gram white plastic tub of Grow’s Pink Lilac (batch 000277) the first thing I noticed… The lid was stuck to the foil seal. Once the foil seal was broken I was greeted by the aroma of strawberry lemonade. It was a zesty and fresh scent that hit on the front of the nose.
Grow’s Pink Lilac’s buds were mostly a lighter shade of olive green with a few darker green leaves mixed in.
The buds were firm yet springy and were adorn with whispy terracotta-coloured pistils.
With a thick, generous coating of trichomes, Grow’s Pink Lilac fluffs up beautifully when ground, showcasing a kinetic sand-like texture and easily passing my Sticky Icky Test.
Starting a 175C in my Venty, Grow’s Pink Lilac is a mix of berries and lemonade on the inhalation with that oh-so-familiar Terpinolene flavour on the exhalation. The vapour is robust, crisp, and smooth. I rarely found myself going beyond 205C. In terms of effects, Grow’s Pink Lilac provides a swift uplift in mood and a subtle yet noticeable shift in mental perspective, making it both refreshing and grounding. She is energetic and clearheaded, pairing well with light social gatherings or days when a plan is already in motion. Grow’s Pink Lilac is best suited for a mid-morning to late-afternoon slot in my rotation.
Will I refill this prescription? Yes. The main reason I picked this cultivar was because it had the terpene Phellandrene. (Don’t worry I’ll be doing a deep dive into Phellandrene next month!)
Basically…. I have this tea from Native Oz Bushfoods called Strawberry Gum Tea. It’s a tea made from the leaves of the Eucalyptus Olida tree. While high in various other terpenes, the Strawberry Gum has Phellandrene which contributes to its strawberry flavour and let me tell you… Strawberry Gum Tea + Pink Lilac = Match Made in Heaven!
Grow’s Pink Lilac won’t be in my regular rotation, as it falls short medicinally by lacking the focus I seek from daytime flowers and triggering the “grazing” munchies. (I prefer to avoid anything that triggers any sort of munchies, no matter how mild.) However, at $155, there’s something oddly comforting about this cultivar that keeps drawing me back for more, despite these shortcomings.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4 out of 5 stars)

Thanks for another great review mate
Such beautiful buds! I always know it’s going to be a wonderful time when they have that magic ‘kinetic sand’ like texture when ground up. Thanks for this review, I think I shall definitely be looking into the strawberry gum tea, it seems very interesting.
