Kind Medical’s Dulce 24:1 is the cultivar Jet Fuel Gelato grown by Pure Sunfarms in Delta, British Columbia, Canada and is one of Pure Sunfarm’s 12 “Signature Strains”.
What is a “Signature Strain”? According to Pure Sunfarm’s website they, “trial hundreds of strains in our greenhouse to find the few that become our Signature Strains. This is pure, potent, BC-grown cannabis.” Seriously, there is no other information besides this quote I pulled from their website about their Signature Strains. There’s no explanation as to WHY they choose their Signature Strains. Honestly, it feels a little gimmicky, like some sort of upselling point when it should be noted that Pure Sunfarms is considered the “budget bud” of Canada.
Entering the cannabis scene in late 2020 Jet Fuel Gelato doesn’t have much of a backstory. It’s an Indica-dominant hybrid cross of Gelato 45 and High Octane OG x Jet Fuel G6 cultivars.
The dominant terpenes in batch number 03431 are Myrcene, Caryophyllene, and Limonene. (Shameless plug for previous articles about Myrcene and Caryophyllene and their effects.) Jet Fuel Gelato is recommended for people suffering from muscle spasms, inflammation, chronic pain, and headaches.
Review
When I opened the bag of Kind Medical’s Dulce 24:1 there was the slightest of smells. It was somewhat reminiscent of menthol and pine. The bag contained mostly small to medium sized buds that were poorly trimmed. The buds were more brown than green with a fair amount of stems. The 10-gram bag was underweight by .15 of a gram.
I’m not a fan of my medicinal cannabis arriving in a bag. There is zero protection for the flowers. While this is only my second product from Kind Medical (the first was Rosa) both came in bags with a significant amount of shake. I firmly believe that the way the product is being packaged is contributing to the amount of shake.
Kind Medical’s Dulce does not pass the Sticky Icky Test. While the buds are firm they don’t bounce back after pressing and there isn’t much flavour in the Mighty+ at lower temperatures. The effects come on fast but are subtle, mostly a head-high with some giggling. However, they are fleeting.
I know mass-produced cannabis simply can not compete with the freshness and love that was BC Bud in the late 1990s to early 2000s but for Pure Sunfarms to be calling what they’re shipping to Australia under the Kind Medical brand their “Signature Strain” that’s supposed to be “pure and potent” is embarrassing.
Jet Fuel Gelato is a run-of-mill hybrid sold by a company that use to grow tomatoes and is now trying to cash in on the BC Bud name.

I’ve had 4 bags of Kind Medical Dulce and while I did find some enjoyment and relief from this strain, I do pretty much agree with your assessment and summation. It’s a mediocre product but at least it’s priced accordingly.
