Little Green Pharma's Silver Mist Flower Review | AusCannaReviews
Is LGP's Silver Mist the CBD flower for you?
Little Green Pharma's Silver Mist is a 12% CBD Sativa dominant flower specially bred from the cultivar Cannatonic’s lineage. Silver Mist’s dominant terpenes are Myrcene, Pinene, Guaiol, Bisabolo, and Caryophyllene.
Cannatonic also known as the “CBD Queen” is a hybrid cross between MK Ultra and G13 Haze and was created by Resin Seeds first appearing in 2008 at Spannabis. Cannatonic was the first cannabis seed on the market that delivered plants with a one-to-one THC/CBD ratio. Cannatonic has served as the genetic base for several CBD-rich hybrids including Cancer’s Nightmare (Cannatonic and White Nightmare) from Sin City Seeds, CannaBerry (Cannatonic and Blackberry) from Apothecary Genetics, Hawkeye (Cannatonic and Mt. Rainer) from RedEyed Genetics, Hazy Med CBD (Super Silver Haze, Skunk #1 and Cannatonic) from Poppa Pain Strains, and VCDC from Moxie Seeds.
MK Ultra is a potent Indica-dominant hybrid that derives its name from the infamous CIA mind-control program and is a cross between G13 and OG Kush. Taking first place Indica at the High Times Cannabis Cup in 2003 and second place in 2004, MK Ultra's dense, resinous buds emit an intense aroma with notes of pine, earth, and diesel, foretelling the robust and earthy flavour profile to come. MK Ultra is typically high in Myrcene, followed by Caryophyllene and Limonene and is a highly prized cultivar among US medical cannabis patients for its potent relief from chronic pain, insomnia, and anxiety.
G13 Haze is a legendary Sativa-dominant hybrid with a reputation for its potent effects and complex flavour profile. Created by crossing the G13 and Haze cultivars, it inherits the best of both worlds. With THC levels typically ranging from 20% to 23%, G13 Haze offers a strong cerebral high that uplifts the mood and sparks creativity. A dense, sticky texture characterizes its buds and emits a fragrant aroma that blends sweet, spicy, and earthy notes. G13 Haze delivers a smooth and flavorful experience, with flavours described as citrus, pine, and spice. Its energizing effects make it an ideal choice for daytime use, providing a burst of motivation and focus without inducing anxiety or paranoia. G13 Haze is typically high in Caryophyllene, Limonene, and Myrcene and is recommended for patients trying to manage symptoms of fatigue, stress, and depression.
Review
LGP’s Silver Mist (batch MP23-3040) is my very first CBD flower and it defied my expectations of what a CBD flower would look like. I was expecting a more rustic-looking flower but Silver Mist could have easily passed for a THC flower based solely on its looks.
Silver Mist’s buds were olive green in colour, had the classic cone shape, and were evenly coated in orange pistils. While some of the buds still had some sugar leaves, it wasn’t excessive.
Silver Mist has proven itself to be among the top performers for the Sticky Icky Test. Despite being packaged in a foil bag without a humidity pack, I was thoroughly impressed to find that even three weeks after opening, Silver Mist’s buds retained their stickiness.
Silver Mist has a blend of sweet, menthol, and earthy aromas. Starting at 170C in my Venty, these flavours shine through beautifully while maintaining a remarkably smooth profile. It took a bit of an adjustment with this flower because at first, I kept chasing psychoactive effects that just weren’t there. But once I settled in and accepted Silver Mist for what it is, a CBD flower, I realized this flower was very calming and because it didn’t have any THC it was very clearheaded and focused.
Will I refill this prescription? No. This was the only flower I used during my recent tolerance break and while at first I thought the headache that I just couldn’t seem to shake for three days was related to said T-break, now I’m not 100% sure. Because even after reintroducing Silver Mist post-tolerance break, the headaches returned. I tried to mix it with other flowers and still the headaches returned. Not debilitating headaches but slightly more than bothersome. As a migraine sufferer, I tried to avoid anything that triggers any type of headache.
