MedCan’s Space Age Cake is a 60 Indica / 40 Sativa Hybrid. She is a cross between Girl Scout Cookies’s (GSC) Forum Cut Cookies and Snow Lotus.
“Forum Cut” means this particular phenotype of GSC is only grown from clones. While GSC is typically associated with relaxing and sedating effects, Forum Cookies tends to be uplifting and happy on the front end before settling and bringing the classic GSC sedating effects in on the back end.
Snow Lotus, commonly known as Goohead, is a cross between Afgooey and an X19-leaning Blockhead male created by Bodhi Seeds. The X19-leaning Blockhead male is a cross between a Pakistani Landrace and Sweet Tooth. It is a chemotype bred specifically to only let the Pakistani Landrace characteristics through thus displaying no Sweet Tooth traits. (Remember… Genotype = genetics, Phenotype = looks, Chemotype = chemical profile) Afgooey, another clone-only cultivar, is a cultivar of interest for anyone chasing more “Afghani” genetics as she is a cross between Afghani #1 and Maui Haze.

Review
Pulling the foil freshness seal back on my 10-gram tub of MedCan’s SAC01 Space Age Cake batch MCA-LOG-SAC01-B1 there’s a sweet berry and vanilla aroma, paired with light hints of pine and coffee.
Although popcorn in appearance the buds were firm and bounced back from light pressure between my fingers. Evenly coated in trichomes, they had minimal red hairs but easily passed the Sticky Icky Test on day one. Three weeks later the buds were still just as sticky.
Sitting at 28% THC MedCan’s SAC01 Space Age Cake is the first flower product I’ve had that feels like a higher THC cultivar. Like a warm hug, she is happy, euphoric and smooth between 165C-195C in my Mighty+. MedCan’s SAC01 Space Age Cake consistently delivered that relaxing and sedating feeling commonly associated with GSC, making my eyelids heavy, and gently lulling me to sleep. Her only real negative… She’s harsh in the back of the throat once you push above 200C.
MedCan’s SAC01 Space Age Cake is most definitely not a daytime cultivar. Every time I tried to be a little sneaky and have some with my morning coffee break, the rest of the day quickly became a write-off because all I wanted to do was sit on the couch, and scroll aimlessly on my phone while contemplating a nap.
At $149 for a 10-gram tub, MedCan’s SAC01 Space Age Cake has been a welcomed addition to my bedtime routine. While she hasn’t increased my deep sleep, she’s most definitely decreased the time it takes me to fall asleep, taking the edge off my insomnia. So for me, that’s a win!

Great review, filled with all the info we like to know about our flower. This one to me looks great and is a good candidate for me as an evening flower. I actually like flower that looks like this, they tend to be softer and a bit fresher than the rock hard nuggets from other available products.
