Superbly Green's Superbly Blissy is the cultivar Banana OG a 22% THC Indica-dominant medicinal cannabis flower that derives its genetic lineage from Bananas and OG Kush. Superbly Blissy is grown and bred in the Byron Hinterland using organic and sustainable growing methods in organic living soil with no pesticides. Hand harvested and hand trimmed Superbly Blissy is dry cured for 14 days with the flower’s main terpenes listed as “Caryophyllene, Limonene and Pinene (although amounts vary)” on Canna Reviews.
Bananas also known as Bananas OG is an Indica-dominant hybrid known for its rich, tropical aroma and creamy banana flavour that was created by crossing the Banana and OG Kush strains. Typically high in Limonene, Caryophyllene and Myrcene Bananas OG is a favourite among patients in the US for treating chronic pain, stress, appetite loss, and inflammation.
OG Kush is the single most recognizable and widely-used cultivar for medicinal cannabis. For a more detailed review of OG Kush, there’s my review of Chemovar’s Premo OG Kush but for a quick refresher… OG Kush is a cross between Chemdawg, Lemon Thai, and Hindu Kush. With a terpene profile typically dominated by Myrcene, Limonene and Caryophyllene OG Kush would be recommended for people suffering from depression, anxiety, pain, and insomnia.
Review
Opening my 10-gram amber plastic tub of Superbly Green's Superbly Blissy (batch 240831) I’m greeted by a pungent tropical lemon-lime aroma that has a slight earthy undertone.
Superbly Blissy’s buds were mostly olive green and displayed a thick coating of trichomes with minimal dark orange pistils.
Superbly Blissy’s buds were dense and had a slow bounce back when squeezed. Although they left a light tackiness on my fingers, they still fluffed up nicely in the grinder, displaying a kinetic sand consistency, holding their structure well, and ultimately passing my Sticky Icky Test.
However, my tub had a noticeable amount of popcorn buds and shake, and despite being 0.26 grams overweight, a small stick didn’t do Superbly Blissy’s bag appeal any favours.
Starting at 175C in my Venty, Superbly Green's Superbly Blissy delivers a smooth, tropical spice-forward flavour with subtle hints of pine and citrus. Her effects lean more towards a slow creeper style, beginning with a gentle wave of euphoria that gradually spreads throughout my body, then settling into a deep, full-body sense of calm and relaxation by easing my muscle tension and providing soothing comfort. True to its name, Superbly Blissy leaves me blissfully spaced out, making it best suited for unwinding in the evenings or for days when you have nothing on your to-do list.
Will I refill this prescription? No. At $140 I picked up Superbly Green's Superbly Blissy because of its OG Kush genetic lineage and while its effects are similar, Blissy is a little more on the scatterbrained side of things. Because of this I often found myself doing what I call “adjacent work” instead of focusing on the task at hand which inadvertently would occasionally trigger some anxiety.

Hey, I wasn’t sure if you meant the tackiness as a negative, but just in case—it’s actually a great thing! That stickiness comes from the resin in the trichomes, which is where all the cannabinoids and terpenes are concentrated. The stickier the bud, the more potent it tends to be, especially for anti-anxiety effects. Also, a little bit of stem on the buds is actually a good thing—it helps prevent unnecessary handling of the flower, which can knock off those valuable trichomes. Ideally, you don’t want to be touching the buds too much because that resin is where the magic happens!
Since limonene was in this strain, and I know that can sometimes trigger anxiety, you might want to look for strains higher in linalool and humulene instead. Linalool is great for calming effects, and humulene helps suppress appetite—so that combo might work better than something high in limonene or myrcene, which can sometimes increase anxiety and hunger.
