A touch of housekeeping before today’s review…
Things are hectic behind the scenes here at AusCannaReviews as I gear up to launch Season 3 of the AusCannaPodcast this Thursday, February 13, 2025, and the United in Compassion conference in Brisbane from February 21st to 23rd.
However, I still wanted to give subscribers beyond the top 100 the opportunity to participate in AusCannaReviews’s second birthday celebrations…
As a special way of thanking my top 100 subscribers, I put together a small goodie bag each year. As I don’t have my subscriptions turned on this comes out of my pocket, so I have to draw the line somewhere and limit the goodie bags to Australian addresses only.
Because of this limitation, some goodie bags still need homes! If you would like a goodie bag you must… (Please know this is a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE SITUATION.)

For those unfamiliar, live rosin is a solventless cannabis concentrate made from fresh frozen flowers that’s pressed under heat and pressure. It’s known for preserving a cultivar’s full terpene and cannabinoid profile, offering a more complete representation of the plant’s effects. In theory, live rosin gummies should provide a more nuanced, full-spectrum experience compared to standard distillate-based edibles.
If you’re new to edibles, keep in mind they can sometimes be slightly hallucinogenic, and if you’re not prepared for that, they may feel a bit intense. The key is to start low and go slow and to pair them with something fatty such as a bacon cheeseburger. A beginner’s dose is typically 2.5mg of THC, while someone with a bit more experience might start at 5mg. Those with a higher tolerance often begin around 10mg of THC.

Superseed’s Live Rosin Pink Lemonade Pastilles are a full spectrum, solventless Sativa extract product made with all-natural ingredients and infused with live rosin from single-sourced Canadian-grown flowers. They come in a 30 pack for $149 with each gummy containing 30mg of THC. This review is based on batch EX24PNK025.
Superseed’s Live Rosin Pink Lemonade Pastilles are sugar-coated and have a squishy, tacky texture similar to Sour Patch Watermelon gummies. They have a mild sour chemical aftertaste which wasn’t unpleasant just noticeable. I live in Southeast Queensland and did not refrigerate these gummies as they were shelf-stable.
(Each gummy contains 3 grams of sugar, something to keep in mind if you’re watching your sugar intake.)
As someone who deals with the first-pass effect, edibles can be a gamble for me.
I was devastated when Promeathen BioPharma discontinued their nanoemulsions and have been searching for a replacement ever since. So when I came across Superseed’s Live Rosin Pink Lemonade Pastilles having never tried live rosin gummies before, in the name of science (and curiosity), I figured they might be worth a shot.
I started cautiously, slowly working up to four times my usual nanoemulsion dose before eventually giving up.
At four times my nanoemulsion dosing roughly an hour after ingesting Superseed’s Live Rosin Pink Lemonade Pastilles, I felt something creeping in, a light sensation that hinted at relaxation. By the two-hour mark, the effects had plateaued into an underwhelming ‘meh.’ There wasn’t that deep body relief or heightened clarity or even a hint of cruiseyness I look for in a good edible. If anything, I was left wondering if I’d even taken any at all.
And then…
Remember when I said each one had 3 grams of sugar? Most mornings after eating these, I woke up with a dull, nagging headache and an upset stomach. Perhaps too much THC or maybe just a wicked sugar crash?
Will I refill this prescription? No. The main advantage of taking edibles is that they are long-lasting and discreet with live rosin infused ones being a step above standard edibles. If you metabolize edibles well and enjoy a candy-style product with a slightly sour kick, Superseed’s Live Rosin Pink Lemonade Pastilles might work for you.
For me? The effects weren’t worth the trade-off of the morning-after headache and stomach discomfort. Also maybe this is just me but when a woman starts licking sugar off her fingers in public the discretion factor is kind of lost, never mind it isn’t “mindful or demure”.
Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn… This one falls into the latter category.

I've been dying to try some gummies. Shame they didn't work for you. There are so many to choose from at the moment. I was thinking of seeing if my doc would let me have some without sacrificing any flower. I actually had my eye on those exact ones.
I'm curious what you will replace Miss Kim with?
