Maali’s Sky is the cultivar Royal Moby, a 20% THC Sativa categorized flower made by crossing Haze and White Widow. Sky is grown in Australia, under a natural light source and is harvested and trimmed by hand.
I love a good morning Cultivar. I’m always interested in a product that could serve in that role. I want to try some Maali products. My favourite day flower atm is Cannatrek Golden Bay which is Ultra Sour. For me it just hits the spot.
I havn't tried Golden Bay but if you're looking for a daytime cultivar Sky is worth checking out, just toss a humidity pack in if it takes you more than a couple of weeks to go through a tub.
Cool, will do. I noticed they have a limited release Maali Coast which looks quite nice.
I like what DJ Short says about taking time to get to know a strain. The more I use the Ultra Sour the more I like it. ITs one of those Sativa's you can just keep topping up throughout the day. I was on Sapphire but they ran out so I switched to Golden Bay, I actually think the Golden Bay is better in its effect than the Sapphire but that could be me. I also switched to Cinderella Haze from Sativite Okanagan 24% the Okanagan is worth a try and I would love to know how you experience it for contrast. I liked it but found it to be very intense and energetic which was awesome but it just didn't have much to offer for calming so I found on stressful days it wasn't easy to wind down and it left me feeling a bit wired. in a certain setting that could be perfect. Definitely a night out with friends strain. I saved a tub for such an event. Cinderella Haze is worth a look too. Reduced atm to $125 a 10g tub and not out of date. They feel it didn't represent what they were after so they have changed the cure for the next batch. Thats on rotation with the Golden Ba.
A few people now have told me to checkout Cinderella Haze! Okanagan has been on my list to try for a while now and I'm not sure whyI haven't to be honest. And yeah you really do have to sit with a cultivar for a bit before you start to notice all the effects, lol probably why it takes me soooo long to write a review!
Shame it became dry and brittle, it did sound like what your after as you were describing the effects. Knowing its homegrown, thought it would be a touch cheaper too.
It really was a nice flower and I’m sure tossing in a humidity pack would’ve addressed the dryness towards the end but I feel like as a patient it isn’t our responsibility to add one.
Humidity packs are not the standard on the rec market. They are widely known to affect terpenes negatively over time. Not to say they wouldn’t help if a flower was not dried or cured properly. Just wanted to put that out there.
Maali sky was a life changer for me… I can’t seem to get it anymore due to low stock in au?? What should I get instead?
Maybe try Grow SB’s Lemon Cream Cake or Mother Labs's Tangerine Skies
