I’ve been ranting on about starting a podcast that is patient run for a while now (female, late 30s, QLD) something that focuses on more diverse voices and is focused on access, patient stories and what's happening in the political and scientific landscape in Aus. You should join us in the MCOz discord server - a few of us have been organising and ruminating about what we could create. Love your work ❤️
Hey girlie nice to meet you! Sorry for such a delayed response but I was so crazy nervous about how this post was going to be received that I turned my notifications off and promised myself I wouldn't obsessively check my poll stats. Anyways... yeah I'll check out Discord but if you ladies get off the ground before I do, I'd totally do a guest spot!
Great idea for a review and really helpful info for my own issues. In some ways my MC is similar but also different. I have three flowers in rotation Beacon Ventura Dawg for day, Alfie Mac1 for afternoon my evening flower is currently Phytoca Nightqueen was Cannatrek Panama. I also use the Humicology 3:200:15 love that oil, plus in rotation Cannatrek Topaz oil and the Heyday 26. I would recommend the Heyday 26 as it’s nicely euphoric. I have had to break from the thc oils however as they were driving up my tolerance. Three days today and the flower is working better than ever.
Thanks for sharing the personal side to your medicine.
Fun fact... Ventura Dawg’s review is a couple weeks away! How do you rate Phytoca? I just requested their Zruple Punch. I’m super keen to try it as it’s the first cultivar I’ve come across that has Farnesene as its dominant terpene.
Monkey Business and Zurple Punch look a bit better than the nightqueen, but it will be worth me trying another tub. It gets me to sleep which is good and the buds in the tub were fine, not overly dry but still pretty dry. Not a lot of aroma.
I hope the Ventura doesn’t disappoint. It’s a great day flower, my other fave is Okanagan by Sativite.
Been loving what you are doing, don't stop anytime soon, Don't know if I'd call it a rotation yet, but strains used so far are Alfie Mac-1, Medreleaf Sedaprem, Indimed Sativa 19%, Levin 26% Indica, Indimed Indica 19%, Indimed Farm Gas and have recently started using Humacology 3:200:15 Oil (Was using another CBD 100 oil from Dukasa before this). Currently I suffer from Grand Mal Seizures and Insomnia, also have a below left knee amputation after having an unsuccessful experimental bone transplant. After 6 years of the transplant breaking I asked for an amputation. If I start the day with a seizure I'll go for the Mac-1 or the Indimed Indica if my head throbbing to much. Usually I try and start in the early afternoon with some Levin 26 and Indimed Sativa mixed together and as it gets into the late arvo I'll then mix the Levin with some Indimed Indica. Different things like phantom pain and pain after exercise may make the early and late arvo change some days. In the evening after dinner I haven't found the right flowers yet, but the recent Farm Gas has been lovely and very affective, just made a purchase of Amethyst before, so I can't wait for that to arrive. It was only 2 weeks ago I started using the Humacology oil, mainly because of a week of increased phantom pain and after another seizure. I've finished the bottle after 16 days and it has been absolutely amazing how it works. Since using CBD oil 10 months ago, my seizures have reduced by 50%.
Thank You And All The Best For Now And The Coming Future.
p.s. 24 years ago I can remember starting the day at the Greenhouse with good old Super Silver Haze.
